Independence Date

I currently own an 04 plate Audi with 39,000 miles on the clock. I have yet to replace the cam-belt due to the relatively low mileage for the year of the car, however I am aware that the car is in its 6th year and wondered whether I should get it changed for peace of mind? Also, would you trust an independent Audi approved garage as opposed to a main dealer?

An independent VAG specialist will normally be cheaper and do a better job than an Audi dealer otherwise why would people go to him rather than to an Audi dealer?
