Local dealer has damaged our car - what can we do?
Our 2007 diesel Volkswagen Beetle Cabriolet has recently had a new DMF and clutch fitted by our local Volkswagen dealer. However, since getting the car back, we've found reversing up an incline produces a truly awful smell of burning with smoke being emitted from the front wing area.
The smell lingers for ages after the burning, but the car has been checked and the dealer says they can't find any problem. What should we do?

Well, whether they can 'find' a problem or not, they have created one and you can insist that they fix it at no further charge. Get legal if necessary.
