International driving license DoB mismatch - Suja spot
Hello. I hold a driving license of my country and I am planning to buy and drive a car for 12 months in UK on international driving license.
But my driving license has wrong date of birth printed on it. (But the driving license has my photo on it)
Does it matter while buying car and insurance?
Also while applying for insurance what should I mention as my date is birth? Original or as per license?

You need to get the driving license DOB updated/changed

You should check whether you actually need an IDP - your national licence may be sufficient for 12 months.

It’s actually copied from national license. The national license has a wrong DoB.
