Fiat announces prices for Fiat 500L MPW

Published 16 September 2013

Fiat’s sixth addition to its ever growing 500 family - the 500L MPW - is now on sale, with prices starting at £15,795.

Essentially a stretched version of the 500, the MPW (Multi Purpose Wagon) is 200mm longer than the 500L and will compete with the Ford Grand C-Max in the compact MPV market. Fiat is officially labelling the car as a ‘5+2’, which suggests that the third row of seats will be strictly for children.

The 500L MPW is offered in two trim levels - Pop Star and Lounge – with the former featuring air conditioning, cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels and a five-inch touchscreen entertainment system as standard.

The Lounge trim adds rear electric windows, front fog lights, dual-zone automatic climate control and automatic headlamps. Both Pop Star and Lounge trims come with the choice of five or seven seat, with the later folding flat into the floor to provide a load space of 638-litres.

The engine line-up consists of two petrol engines, a 95HP 1.4 and 105HP 0.9 TwinAir, along with two turbodiesels – a 85HP 1.3 and 105HP 1.6 MultiJet.

Prices start at £15,795, for the 1.4 petrol in five-seat, Pop Star trim, while the range-topping 1.6 MultiJet in seven-seat, Lounge trim will set you back £20,490.
