Vauxhall updates Mokka and Corsa for 2023

Vauxhall has announced updates to its popular Vauxhall Corsa and Vauxhall Mokka models for the 2023 range. The changes include new styling, updated engine options and new technologies.

The Vauxhall Mokka range sees a significant update with the introduction of a new 1.2 (136PS) Turbo engine with 6-speed manual transmission, which replaces the previous 1.2 (130PS) 6-speed manual.

The new engine has been refined to reduce CO2 emissions without sacrificing performance, and can develop 230Nm of torque from just 1750rpm, enabling 0-60mph in 9.1 seconds and a top speed of 125mph.

One the most popular small SUVs on sale, the Vauxhall Mokka's exterior design has also been refined, with black trim replacing the previous chrome exterior trim and the Ultimate models now featuring more equipment, including driver’s side power lumbar support and front massage seats as standard.

The Vauxhall Corsa range sees changes to its equipment levels across all versions, with the Design models further enhanced with revised Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, and LED front fog lights added to the Corsa Electric GS. The top-of-the-range Corsa Ultimate now includes Blind Spot Alert and a driver’s seat with lumbar support and massage function as standard.

Prices for the new Vauxhall Mokka line-up begin from £24,010 OTR, while the Vauxhall Corsa line-up opens from £18,585 OTR for the Design variants. The Vauxhall Corsa Electric range begins from £33,930 OTR for the 136PS Vauxhall Corsa Electric GS, which has a range of 222 miles (WLTP) on a full battery.

In addition to the updates to the Corsa and Mokka ranges, Vauxhall has also renamed the ‘GS Line’ trim name to ‘GS’ across its entire passenger car range.

Can you recommend a torque converter automatic?

I am looking for a small automatic that is run by torque converter, which cars do you recommend?
Assuming your looking for a new car (there are plenty of used torque converter automatic options) then the Peugeot 208 and Vauxhall Corsa both have good automatic gearboxes. Most other small cars have dual-clutch gearboxes, however there is also the Honda Jazz abd Toyota Yaris that come as hybrids with CVT or e-CVT transmissions.
