BMW 330e
Combining a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor, both driving the rear wheels, the plug-in hybrid BMW 330e is a company car driver’s dream. Combined they deliver 251PS, but the car is capable of up to 75mph in electric-only mode, for about 25 miles. It’ll recharge in two hours from a wall charger, hit 62mph in a positively rapid 6.1 seconds, yet spits out just 44g/km CO2.
