BMW 2 Series Active Tourer

BMW has unveiled its first ever MPV, the 2 Series Active Tourer. The new model will be BMW’s first venture with front-wheel drive, while the three-cylinder engine range will be sourced from the new MINI. Prices will start from £23,000, with deliveries starting from September 2014.

It has sweptback headlights and an angular rear. The range is based on the new MINI platform and measures 4342mm, which makes it marginally longer than the BMW 1 Series. However, despite its compact dimensions, the Active Tourer has 468 to 1510 litres of storage, with a flat loading floor. You will also be able to split the rear seats to carry large objects up to two metres in length.
