Top 10: Best-selling cars in August 2014
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has announced new car registration figures for August 2014. It was the thirtieth consecutive month of growth in the new car market, with year-to-date registrations up 10.1 per cent over 2013.

Nissan Qashqai
The Qashqai is down a few spots on earlier months, but it still features in the top 10 for August. The latest model, launched earlier in 2014, offers a good blend of attractive family car features, including SUV styling and a spacious, practical interior. 1154 were registered in August 2014, meaning tenth place in the top 10 – but year-to-date the Qashqai is in sixth place.
