Honda marked its half century in Formula One by showing off a fantastic display of race and road cars. The new Civic Type R attracted plenty of plaudits, although it was the McLaren-Honda Formula One cars that stole the show.
The standout racer was the 1991 McLaren Honda MP4/6, which carried Ayrton Senna to his third and final world driver’s’ title. Senna’s 1989 F1 car, MP4/5B, was also in action, along with 2010 Ferrari of Fernando Alonso and the 2013 Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton.
