With a crowded market and millions of pounds in sales at stake, car manufacturers set aside vast budgets to make sure their adverts jump out of the TV set. It doesn’t always work, but when it does the results are spectacular. Here are ten of the best car TV adverts ever, as chosen by us. Ford Puma - Bullitt
Regularly voted as one of the best car adverts ever, probably owing to its petrol-heady combination of suave and smoldering Steve McQueen and a great Ford driver’s car. It uses footage from iconic film Bullitt - along with the great Lalo Schifrin soundtrack - to stitch McQueen into a Puma.
